GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
On 16 January 2025, the AGCRA Iron Mike Chapter held their 1st Quarterly General Membership Meeting to address key issues within the Adjutant General (AG) Community at Fort Liberty, NC. Other meeting goals included soliciting feedback and discussing upcoming Chapter events and initiatives.
The meeting began with an open discussion about challenges such as retention, communication gaps, and professional development, and it emphasized actionable solutions to strengthen the community. Chapter Members also shared insights on how leaders can positively shape organizational culture and climate, fostering innovation and inclusiveness.
MAJ (Ret) Patrick Davis, Chapter President, led the intake portion of the meeting, focusing on the AGCRA mission and vision, leadership opportunities, upcoming events, and membership growth. He outlined resources available to members and provided an overview of planned initiatives designed to drive engagement and support the Chapter’s mission.
The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of purpose and collaboration among members, who are committed to advancing the Adjutant General’s Corps and ensuring optimal support and integration on behalf of the Chapter.
CHAPTER GAME NIGHT & KARAOKE
On Sunday evening, 19 January 2025, the Chapter partnered with Two-Two-Six The Warehouse (a local event venue co-owned and operated by former AG Soldier, CW4 (Ret) Robert Savage) to host an evening of fun bringing together our AG Community, Chapter members, and Families.
Attendees enjoyed a variety of card and board games and participated in “cash or swag” raffles. Karaoke proved to be the highlight of the evening, and several brave souls excitedly showcased their vocal skills throughout the night.
